Children join Nursery in the September after their second birthday. Reception is for children who turn four by 31 August. Later year groups are admitted as places arise.
Not for Nursery or Reception. For Primary 1 and above, children spend a relaxed morning in class with us. We look at how they read, reason and play with others; there is nothing to revise.
Eighteen is the maximum in every year group, with a teacher and a full-time assistant in each Nursery and Reception class. The adult-to-child ratio across the school is about one to nine.
The British National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage, enriched with Nigerian history, Yoruba and Igbo lessons, and a civic programme. Phonics is taught daily and systematically.
Gates open at 7:30 am and the school day runs from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm for Nursery and Reception, and to 3:15 pm for Primary. After-school clubs and supervised care run until 5:00 pm.
Yes. A hot lunch and two snacks are included in the fees and cooked on site. We cater for allergies and dietary requirements with advance notice.
Yes, on routes across GRA, Bodija, Jericho and Oluyole. Fares vary by route and are listed on the Fees page. Every bus carries an assistant as well as the driver.
Primary 5 and 6 follow a transition programme: entrance-style assessments taken calmly and often, interview practice, and visits from the secondary schools our leavers typically join.
